Horrible Histories.. Vile Victorians

Instead of going to a pantomime this year we chose to go and see Horrible Histories.. Vile Victorians Live on Stage. 

Dr Dee reports tales of the Victorian times with loads of toilet humour, facts, singing and dancing and 3D Effects.

It was a fun, educational performance focusing on all the vile elements of the Victorian Times such as ..Baby Farmers, poo sticks, toilet boxes [The poo box], mines, factories.. 

The youngest dodger refused to put his glasses on at one point as the flying 3D Rats seemed a little too realistic at one stage. I think he was a little scared and didn't want to admit it, bless him!

This performance as you can image went down well with the Dodger boys!... toilet humour is quite popular in our household!

Powis Castle

We managed to take a break from SD HQ over the weekend and took a trip to Powis Castle!

After a brisk walk around the grounds... and a spot of tree hugging!!! We all felt a little treat was in order.. so a visit to the cafe it was and boy did we indulge in the best comfort food ever ... cake!
