Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre

It's been another busy weekend!

and yes my tree is up and decorated so

Christmas has arrived....OK, it's only a week early!

We all had a fabulous time mooching around Ludlow Market Town

The streets of Ludlow are so pretty and full of amazing buildings

It has some great shops, where you can find that special gift!  

The day was rather cold but lucky for me I had my new spotty boots on with fleece lining.. so lovely and cosy.

This is just one of the cute festive shops where you can have a vintage tea party!

You can expect to see Jugglers, Dancers, Storytellers, plenty of fighting knights, swords, mud, straw, beer and hearty food.

Food & Craft Fair

Over the weekend we also managed to visit a local food and craft fair www.coedydinas.co.uk with lots of yummy handmade treats... beers and crafts.

 Yummy.. It was not a good idea to visit over lunch time, it made me more hungry!

They had the biggest meringues I had ever seen!

It was lovely to see lots of people supporting local businesses. 

We loved the ginger bread men so much that we were going to plan to make some later that day when we got home.. but just ran out of time! We have not been forgiven for this!

Emma Bridgewater is definately worth visiting as adults or with kids. 
I had one  my best birthdays visiting the www.emmabridgewater.co.uk Factory @ Stoke on tent- where a group of close friends drank coffee painted pottery and ate cake! Perfect! They now have a spotty aga where they bake food for the cafe and have big leather sofas to relax in. So you must give it a try.

Birmingham.. Frankfurt Christmas Market

 Loads of magical log cabins lined the streets of Birmingham.. selling Hot chocolate,

German mulled wine, German beers, traditional sausages, meats, sweets, marzipan's, breads, pastries and lots more.

Christmas has definitely started early for the Davies family this year.
 I'm really getting in the Christmas mood

 I cant wait to get my Christmas tree up... I know it's bonkers!

 

We couldn't pass this stall without having a little taster.. Warm Nuttella poured over mini pancakes was the overall winner!

How delicious do these little babies look? Again the hearts just caught my eye!

Custard Factory

We had an exciting weekend visiting The Custard Factory in Birmingham... its an arts and media centre full of quirky shops,  cafes/bars and creative bods........its also a short walk from the Bull Ring...  with some really interesting retro shops along the way. Lucky for me!  It was actually built 100 years ago by Sir Alfred Bird, the inventor of custard and is now being lovingly restored for the creative. 

The picture above is in the reception of the new phase Zellig... just amazing
 I love it!

Even the office doors have the fabulous Banksy prints on them "Girl with Balloon"

The boys were very nervous crossing the glass bridge ... I must say it did make my heart flutter!
